Return Policy

Our fair and transparent return and cancellation policy.

Effective: January 1, 2025

1. Overview

At VoltEdge Motors, we want you to be completely satisfied with your electric vehicle purchase. We offer a structured return and cancellation policy to ensure a fair experience for all customers.

2. Pre-Delivery Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your vehicle booking before delivery:

  • Within 48 hours of booking: Full refund of the booking amount, no questions asked.
  • 3–14 days after booking: 50% of the booking amount will be refunded.
  • 15+ days after booking: Booking amount is non-refundable.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.

3. Post-Delivery Return (7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee)

We offer a 7-day / 500 km return window for new vehicles, subject to the following conditions:

  • Vehicle must be returned within 7 calendar days of delivery.
  • Vehicle must have fewer than 500 km on the odometer.
  • Vehicle must be in its original condition — no damage, modifications, or excessive soiling.
  • All original documents, keys, and accessories must be returned.

Upon meeting these conditions, a full refund minus a processing fee of ₹15,000 will be issued within 14 working days. Registration and road tax charges are non-refundable as these are government fees.

4. Accessories & Merchandise

VoltEdge-branded accessories purchased from our showroom or website may be returned within 30 days in their original, unused, sealed condition for a full refund. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

5. Financing & Trade-In

If your purchase involved vehicle financing, the refund will first settle any outstanding loan amount, with the balance returned to you. Trade-in vehicles cannot be returned once the transaction is complete.

6. Defective Vehicle Returns

If your vehicle has a verified manufacturing defect that renders it undriveable within the first 30 days of ownership, you are entitled to either:

  • A full replacement vehicle of the same model and specification, or
  • A full refund as outlined in Section 3.

Returns are not accepted for:

  • Vehicles with odometer readings exceeding 500 km (post-delivery window).
  • Vehicles with damage, accidents, or unauthorised modifications.
  • Custom-ordered or non-standard specification vehicles.
